Soha nem szerettem volna, se tűzoltó, se katona, se orvos, se mérnök lenni... csak festő... abból is a művészebbik fajta. Mégis mérnöki diplomám lett, de mindent megtettem azért, hogy a festéket kenhessem.


Sikerült! Több, mint két évtizede csak ez a hivatásom, a soha nem szunnyadó szerelmem.

Hálásan gondolok ezért Nagy János festőművészre gimnáziumi rajztanáromra, első mesteremre, és Wessely Tiborra akitől mindent... tényleg mindent - megtanulhattam az olajfestészetről.

A végére maradt, de a kezdet akkor volt, amikor 1964-ben, Budapesten megszülettem.
